Lay Your Head Down”, is a piece near and dear to them in memory of a close friend and student that was lost to mental illness and suicide. The intention is to shine light on mental illness and breaking the stigma surrounding this. The piece will be intrinsically linked to suicide prevention and awareness. We will be representing this cause within the movement and music. We will also be involving suicide prevention/awareness organizations and they will be joining us for a curated Q&A after the showing. The work will require deep digging and vulnerability. A willingness to embody this struggle and also symbolize an unwavering message of hope.
