PETER CHENG

Peter Cheng is multi-faceted Taiwanese-American Dancer, Producer, Director, Choreographer and Model based in New York City. Originally from San Francisco, CA, Cheng earned his BFA in Dance from the University of California at Santa Barbara and up on graduation continued his professional training with Alonzo King LINES Ballet, ODC/Dance, SFCD, Post:Ballet, Sidra Bell Dance NY | MODULE, Visceral Dance Chicago, Springboard Danse Montréal, YYDC/Yin Yue, and NW Dance Project, among others. He has performed works by Sharon Eyal, Caili Quan (BalletX), Flavien Esmieu (BalletBoyz), and konverjdans. As an avid choreographer, his work has been presented at Los Angeles Dance Festival, ODC Theater, Center Stage Theater, Broadway Performance Hall, and across New York City at CPRNY, 92nd St. Y, Judson Memorial Church, Dixon Place, the Mark O'Donnell Theater, Arts On Site. Teaching credits include: LINES Ballet Dance Center, Brockus Project Studios, SALT Contemporary Dance, Barlow Arts Conservatory, UC Santa Barbara, Purdue Contemporary Dance Company, and Arizona State University.

Kyla Lanae Hull

Kyla Lanae Hull was born and raised in Forest, Virginia where her life in dance began. In May 2020, she graduated from George Mason University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance and minor in Tourism and Events Management. She has trained under Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, BODYTRAFFIC in Los Angeles, Project H[u]mans in Brazil, and many notable commercial choreographers in NYC and LA. Her accolades include performing at The Kennedy Center, dancing works by choreographers such as Andonis Foniadakis, Kyle Abraham, and Robert Battle, working for the British Association of Teachers of Dancing, having her own choreographic work presented in DC, and more. Her current endeavors include an apprenticeship with Cat Cogliandro’s CATASTROPHE! Dance Company in NYC, working in the diversity, equity, and inclusion field for a national organization, and now working with Hayden J Frederick on their newest choreographic project.

LIZ CULVER

Liz Culver is a performance artist that specializes in dance theatre and comedy. In 2020, she graduated from Rowan University with a B.A. in Dance and Theatre. During her time at Rowan, she was able to work under the direction of Paule Turner, Leslie Elkins, Dawn Marie Bazemore, Melanie Stewart and Christopher Marlowe Roche. She was also given the opportunity to perform in In America, That is to Say Nowhere at the Philadelphia Fringe Festival. After a year of relative solitude, she is supremely excited to be working and collaborating with Hayden J. Frederick and the rest of this amazing cast.

rUCHITA VERMA

Ruchita Verma is an emerging and passionate artist from California’s Bay Area region and dances as a TruDance company member. She trains weekly in a diverse range of styles and is a trainee in Ali Koinoglou’s Koin & Co training program based in New York City. Ruchita also dances as a member of C.R.O.W.N Collective’s Teen Company under the direction of Marcus Jones and Kiersten “KT” Willis. She’s also a part of Cat Cogliandro’s CATASTROPHE! Dance Company in NYC. She has been featured on episode #101 of Erin Pride’s Dance Boss Podcast and hopes to raise awareness about mental health and help people know their worth through artistry. As a youth advocate, Ruchita is a team member of The Dance Safe, an organization cultivating safety, education, and inclusivity in dance spaces. Her recent endeavor includes becoming an ambassador for Embody Dance Conference. Through training under various artists, Ruchita aspires to use dance as a medium for connection, sharing, and change. She is so excited to work with Hayden J Frederick on their newest camera project!

jULIE jOSEPH

Julie "JJ" Joseph is a graduate of Brandeis University '18 with a BA in psychology and Hispanic Studies. After graduating, she went on to train in Boston and NYC in various disciplines, and also became a dance educator. She currently dances as an apprentice for Cat Cogliandro's CATASTROPHE! in New York City, and is a full time member of BCDP GLOBAL under the direction of Sarah-Kay "SKooJ CorE-O", and N.E.A.T., a tap company under the direction of Mike Camire. Her work as a dance educator allows her to share her love of movement with the next generation, especially in Tap, Rhythm Work and History, and Contemporary movement. She has received many performance opportunities which have led her to commercial and concert spaces such as Carnival Choreographer's Ball NYC, Symphony Space, and the Jazz at Lincoln Center in NYC. She also produces her own work to continue sharing her artistic voice.

JESSIE LEVIN

Jessie Levin, of Long Island, New York, is a New York City based dancer, choreographer, teacher, and certified personal trainer. She received her BFA in Dance Performance from The University at Buffalo in May 2018. Since graduating, Jessie has had the privilege of dancing for Norwegian Cruise Line, Oceania Cruises, The American Chamber Ensemble, Sonia Plumb Dance Company, and The Mo.vement.

MORIA MARKOWITZ

Moriah Markowitz is a New York based dancer and choreographer. She received her BFA in Dance from the University at Buffalo in 2019, and 200 hr Vinyasa Yoga certification in 2021. Moriah has performed for Artist Simply Human’s showcase “The Dance Project” with choreographer Marissa Sciacca, “Zodiaque Dance Company” with choreographers Jenna Zavrel, Rich Ashworth, and Tom Ralabate, and also performed in the White Wave DUMBO Dance Festival with Danielle Lydia Sheather. Moriah has showcased her choreography in multiple venues including but not limited to, The American College Dance Association, Boston Contemporary Dance Festival, SaltCity Dance Festival, Peridance’s APEX Dance Festival, and DUMBO Dance Festival. As she found her love for choreography, she has recently began a New York based contemporary dance company titled “The Mo.vement” During any creative process, Moriah hopes to establish a safe space for dancers, choreographers, and audience members to find immeasurable amount of growth and inspiration.
