Dance EXPOSURE: Spotlight, presented by ArtsQuest and the Lehigh Valley Dance Exchange (LVDE), invites you to experience a shared evening of work highlighting 4 of the region's most inspiring choreographers and companies.
The Dance EXPOSURE showcase series provides established and emerging dance artists with a platform to share their work and expand their audience reach. Artists are provided with full technical production and marketing support to bring their visions to life in a unique, intimate setting set against the breathtaking backdrop of the SteelStacks blast furnaces. This special "Spotlight" event gives each company the opportunity to present a more in-depth look at their repertoire, allowing them to immerse the audience in their vision and language in a more meaningful way.
Come and enjoy the art of dance as a community in an evening of raw talent, diverse embodied perspectives, and original artistic voices that will leave you feeling energized and inspired!

ABOUT THE ARTISTS
Artistic Edge Dance Company is a professional, versatile dance company reaching all genres of dance with passion, artistry, and performance. The company was founded by Narissa Fell–Wescott in June of 2018 with the mission to explore various styles of dance and relay a message or story through artistic movement. The company aims to entertain audience members of all ages with an impactful message and give back to the dance community! Throughout its’ first few years, the company premiered work at various showcases, such as; Convergence, Artistry Unfolded, The Village, Dance Exposure, and The Pocono Great Talent Event, as well as, performed as the opening act for Penn State’s THON 2019. AEDC has produced four main shows: “The Dream” fall 2018, “Merge” spring of 2019, “Act to Change" fall of 2021 and “Serenity” fall of 2023, and “The Comeback” fall of 2024. The company has held master classes and workshops for various types of communities throughout PA including Releve Dance Academy, AcroDynamics, Visions Dance Company, Widener University, and Alvernia University. They continue to reach out to numerous schools, studios, and other dance companies with their skills, talent, and passion for the art of dance. AEDC offers workshops and master classes throughout the seasons to students and adults! The company also hosts a dance competition, entitled Dance the Edge Dance Competition every competition season for all dancers looking for an all-inclusive, warm-inviting environment of dancers and professionals. Dance the Edge also provides a convention in the fall of every season for dancers of all ages and levels. Artistic Edge loves to bring entertainment and artistry to the dance community!
emme dance collective was founded by Emily Kline Frick and Melissa Turka in 2018. emme aims to engage audiences with the beauty and athleticism of the human body through choreography that is vibrant and rich in physicality. Rooted in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, emme dance collective works to ignite a passion for dance among diverse communities of dancers and non-dancers alike.
JCWK Dance Lab is an ongoing research project combining education, physical dance practice, and performance. Using dance as its medium, JCWK Dance Lab investigates the ways that dance can be a vehicle for non-violent, positive social change by creating Joy, Connection, and Wellness through Kinesthetic stories. The Tap Ties mission is to be a link between tap dancers and the information they need to grow as performers, teachers, choreographers, & arts professionals. Tap Ties will provide these educational opportunities through workshops, master classes, newsletters and performances. Our goal is to keep alive the rich history of the American Tradition of tap dancing while also encouraging the creation and sharing of new tap choreography.
